The QB12 is the blade of Bettinardi's 2023 Queen B line -- a compact, one-piece-milled plumber's-neck putter for the player who wants a classic heel-shafted shape with real toe hang. Its signature is a wider flange and a crowned topline that frame the ball at address, a look Bettinardi treats as exclusive to the brand. For 2023 it moved to a milled 303 stainless steel head (earlier 2021 QB12s were soft carbon steel with a Rose Gold PVD finish), wearing the new Caramel Copper PVD finish and the finer Mini Honeycomb face milling cut with an 8% smaller tool. It delivers the soft impact, end-over-end roll and honest feedback Bettinardi built its name on, in the most traditional shape of the family.
A respected, well-made boutique blade from a premier USA milling house, but a standard production model rather than a collectible. Reviews (Curated, Today's Golfer) praise its shape and feel; it does not carry the scarcity, tour-legend or forum-reverence that would push a putter to cult. Most of Bettinardi's cult energy lives in limited Hive drops and tour-issue pieces, not a catalog QB12.

Golfers who struggle with face rotation, distance control on mishits, or want a set-and-forget alignment aid are far better served by a mid-mallet or a zero-torque model -- including Bettinardi's own 2025 Antidote SB1/SB2.
One of the 2023 Queen B trio (QB6 blade, QB11 compact mallet, QB12 blade), the refresh defined by Caramel Copper PVD and the 8%-finer Mini Honeycomb milling. Low, as expected for a compact blade -- and appropriately so. The plumber's neck gives about 1/2 (roughly 45 degrees) toe hang, so the face rotates through impact and demands a center strike with a matching arc; MOI is modest and off-center putts lose more roll than any mallet in the family. The Mini Honeycomb face makes mishits audibly and tactilely obvious, which good putters want. A 4 reflects blade-class stability, not a knock on the putter.
Calibrated across the whole catalog — a tour blade scores low here on purpose; it means control, not ease.
MSRP $450 in 2023. Reconditioned-retail listings can read $325-400 graded/warrantied, but realistic 2026 private-party value for a 2023 QB12 blade is about $225-325 depending on finish wear and fitting spec. As a niche blade shape from a boutique brand it trades steadily rather than appreciating; the 2021 carbon-steel/Rose Gold version is a distinct earlier product and should be priced on its own condition, not confused with the 2023 stainless model.
