“A more players-oriented adjustable Adams driver. Standard forgiveness with a tunable hosel; fit to your speed and strike.”

Adams' 2013 flagship driver: a 460cc titanium head built around the Cut-Thru Velocity Slot -- twin channels cut through crown and sole near the face designed to keep it flexing on off-center hits, engineered aggressively enough that Adams said every head was CT-tested four times during manufacturing to stay within the R&A's spring-like-effect limit. It combined an adjustable hosel (roughly +/-1.5 degrees of loft), stock Matrix 6Q3 'Red Tie' graphite and an Iomic grip, launching at $399-400 as Adams' answer to Callaway's RAZR Fit and TaylorMade's (by then, its own parent company's) SLDR. Reviewers found it long and forgiving but not distinctive in an unusually crowded 2013 driver field.

Solidly reviewed on release (GolfWRX, Today's Golfer, Plugged In Golf, Swing Man Golf all covered it as a capable, forgiving driver) but with no lawsuit, tour-win legend, or scarcity story -- it was one entry in the annual driver refresh cycle, superseded within the usual product window, and today is an inexpensive, easy-to-find used driver rather than something sought out.

Mid-handicap players wanting forgiveness and easy loft adjustability at a mid-range price point. A low-handicap player chasing current ball speeds and forgiveness would be far better served by a modern driver.
