The F-3 is the full mallet of Edel's 2024 Array system — a modern, deeper head with the highest MOI of the three F-mallets. It carries the whole Array platform: four interchangeable hosels, six alignment plates and multiple sole weights, all Torx-adjustable so toe hang, weight and sightline are fit to the player. Construction is the mallets' forged 6061 aluminum frame with a forged/milled 1025 carbon steel face. Edel's weighting choice is distinctive — hollow rear corners with removable weights placed just forward of center rather than at the extreme back — which the Plugged In reviewer found gave forgiveness on par with larger traditional mallets while keeping strong distance control and a soft, low-volume 'thud.'
