The story

Cleveland's Classic Collection was the brand's affordable, high-finish answer to Ping, Odyssey and Scotty Cameron in the early-to-mid 2010s -- sources place its launch around 2013, not the DB's 2020 tag (see flags) -- built on a simple formula: copy proven, out-of-patent head shapes, mill them cleanly, and sell them far below premium-blade pricing. The lineup covered a Ping Anser-style blade (#1), a Ping Zing/Tad Moore-style blade (#3), a heel-shafted mallet (#2) and a plumber's-neck mallet (#10); later HB Inserts versions added a soft copolymer face insert, with blades around 340g and mallets around 350g. It worked well enough that Cleveland folded the concept into the rebranded, technically-updated Huntington Beach Collection starting in 2016.
