The spot along the shaft where it bends the most during the swing — also called the bend point. A low kick point (bending nearer the clubhead) helps kick the head upward through impact, launching the ball higher; a high kick point (bending nearer the grip) produces a lower, more penetrating flight that stronger players often prefer. The effect is real but subtle — a kick-point change might move launch a degree or so, far less than changing loft. Think of it as fine-tuning trajectory after flex and loft are dialed in.
