TrackMan calls it landing angle, and it tracks closely with peak height: high, spinny shots drop steeply and stop fast, while flat trajectories land shallow and release. All else equal, a flatter descent means more bounce and roll — welcome off the tee, trouble into a firm green. It's the number that explains why two players carrying a 7-iron the same distance hold greens completely differently, and on the sim it tells you whether that approach would have stayed on the putting surface or bounded over.
