The South Course, designed by PGA Tour player Tom Lehman with Kurt Sandness, features the par-5 11th with a 30-yard drop from tee to green, claimed as the largest single-hole elevation change in Florida. Sandness's North Course (7,226 yards) rolls even harder. Both have carried Golf Digest 4.5-star ratings — a legitimately distinctive facility hiding in plain sight north of Tampa.

Tampa-area golfers bored of dead-flat golf; anyone who wants to feel a Carolina-style rolling round without leaving Florida. The 36 holes make it a natural all-day trip.
