The Tour X is Maxfli's firmest, most tour-oriented ball -- a four-piece build with a reported 100-compression core, dual ionomer mantle, and cast-urethane cover positioned to compete with the Pro V1x and TP5x. It became the equipment story of the 2025 PGA Tour season when Ben Griffin, with partner Andrew Novak (who played it during foursomes rounds), won the Zurich Classic of New Orleans with it -- Maxfli's first PGA Tour victory since Fred Funk's 2003 win with a Maxfli A10.

Built for faster swing speeds and better ball-strikers who want maximum-compression tour-ball performance; slower swingers will likely under-compress it and should look to the Tour or Tour S instead.
