Vivid Soft is Volvik's newer, lower-compression sibling to the standard Vivid, announced in January 2025 alongside a Crystal Soft ball and released to retail on March 1, 2025. It swaps the standard Vivid's 85-compression build for a 70-compression Nano-Bismuth dual-core construction under the same surlyn ionomer cover and matte SF coating, aimed at moderate swing speeds who want more give at impact. Like the rest of the Vivid family it's built around visibility first, with a bold alignment line and a wide range of solid matte colors, including licensed Marvel-character editions.
Noticeably softer at impact than the standard Vivid, with a quieter, more cushioned feel off the driver and around the green while keeping the same bright, glare-free color options.
Fits moderate swing speeds who want a softer feel and more forgiveness than the standard 85-compression Vivid, without moving all the way down to a true senior/junior distance ball.
Too new to have built any lake-ball or bulk-resale presence; anyone buying it today is buying current retail stock.
