It carries over Twist Face geometry and the Thru-Slot Speed Pocket from prior TaylorMade fairways and pairs them with a V Steel sole designed to glide through turf and rough without twisting the face open or shut. Reviewers consistently found it noticeably easier to hit than its Plus sibling, with strong toe-strike forgiveness — testers noted toe misses carried nearly as far as center strikes, the signature Twist Face effect at work.
