The Stadium Course's kid brother, opened in 1987, designed by Pete Dye with Bobby Weed and player consultant Jerry Pate — a coming-out project for Weed, who went on to a major career of his own. It's real Dye golf: bulkheaded water, pot bunkers, grassy hollows, and mounding, just turned down a notch from next door. Don't call it a practice track — it hosted the Senior Players Championship (1988–89), the Web.com Tour Championship (2013–15), and the Korn Ferry Challenge in 2020. A 2006 renovation added 300-plus trees and rebuilt bunkers.

Sawgrass pilgrims who want 36 holes of Dye without two Stadium green fees, and anyone curious what a 'second course' looks like when it's good enough to host tour finals.

The bulkheaded water holes on the back nine carry the DNA of the Stadium next door — Dye's angles make you choose a side of the fairway on nearly every tee. It's the same exam, just with partial credit.

Water touches every hole, so bring balls — but it's shorter and far more forgiving than the Stadium, and it's the sensible first round of a Sawgrass trip for a newer player.

Ponte Vedra Beach is about a 3-hour drive from Wesley Chapel — a doable overnight golf trip. Valley + Stadium as a 36-hole day is the classic Tampa-golfer pilgrimage.

Not reliably in the GSPro library — the community built the Stadium Course, not the Valley. Queue TPC Sawgrass (Players Stadium) in our bays instead; it's the sibling everyone actually wants to face anyway.
