Built on a reclaimed phosphate-mine site, giving central Florida genuine dune-and-sand-waste links terrain; opened simultaneously with Doak's Blue course in 2012.
This course is in our GSPro library — pull it up in any bay and play it wall to wall.
"Available in GSPro under its real name; a fun surprise for members who don't expect 'Florida' and 'links golf' to go together. The long-carry par-3 16th over water to a huge Biarritz green is the true signature hole."
Coore & Crenshaw's contribution to Streamsong's 2012 debut, routed through the tallest dunes of the old phosphate-mine property — and for many critics the best of the three, leading the resort at No. 21 on Golf Digest's Top 100 Public list. It's vintage C&C strategy: centerline hazards, greens that bend around bunkers, and a set of par 3s capped by what's often called the best modern Biarritz in America. Proof that Florida can produce genuine sand-hills golf when the land (and the architects) allow.
Strategy nerds and better players — Red rewards thinking golfers who pick lines off the tee. Anyone doing the Streamsong trip should make Red the centerpiece round.
The 208-yard 16th is the star — a true Biarritz with a green 72 yards deep, water short and a dune right; wrong tier equals three putts. The 147-yard 8th has a reverse-S green 62 yards deep and 8 yards wide, and the 330-yard 4th splits the fairway with a 50-yard centerline bunker.
Hard but playable: wide corridors off the tee, but the strategic bunkering and huge, tiered greens extract their toll. Beginners can get around; expect a high number and great scenery.
An hour from Wesley Chapel and the strongest argument that Tampa golfers don't need to fly anywhere. Sim it here, then book the winter trip before rates and tee sheets fill.
In GSPro and one of the best sim courses, period: the 16th Biarritz and 8th snake green are unforgettable in a bay, and the strategic tee shots hold up on screen. Queue it for the members planning the real-life trip.
Public resort golf, bookable by anyone — same deal as Blue and Black: premium winter rates north of $250, real value in summer, and stay-and-play packages are the smart move.
