Nicklaus's elevated tees and greens are the recurring signature: approach shots must fly the number and hold, and the long par 4s late in the round are where the 7,219 yards stop being abstract. It's a second-shot golf course through and through.

The hardest of the three Reunion courses — long, accuracy-obsessed, with elevated greens that shrug off mishit approaches. Beginners should start on the Palmer or Watson and graduate here.
