The southernmost golf course in the continental U.S., a Rees Jones design on Stock Island at the entrance to Key West. It's a par-70, 6,500-yard layout woven through mangroves and tropical wetland rather than ocean dunes — the famous exception being the 'Mangrove Hole,' a par 3 played entirely over a dense mangrove thicket. It's vacation golf with real teeth when the trade winds blow, and iguanas as your gallery.

Keys vacationers who need a golf fix between bar stops, and anyone collecting geographic extremes — this is as far south as U.S. mainland golf goes.

The 143-yard 'Mangrove Hole' (No. 8) is the postcard — all carry over impenetrable green tangle, no bailout, pure commit-or-reload. The windy closing holes add Keys character.

Short, flat, and mostly friendly — but mangroves swallow anything offline and wind is a daily factor. A relaxed, flip-flops-adjacent vibe makes it a low-pressure place to learn.

Fellow Florida golf, but don't kid yourself about proximity: Key West is a 7+ hour drive from Wesley Chapel. It's a Keys-vacation round, not a weekend trip — which makes the sim version the practical way to play it.
